The skin is broken down into two main parts: the dermis (inside, the part we don’t see) and the epidermis (outside, the part we see, put clothes on, apply products to)
The hair, one unit, begins inside the skin (the dermis) and extends through the outer part of the skin (the epidermis).

SKIN
Skin covers the entire body. Its serves as a barrier of protection for our internal organs and against external elements. The skin also regulates body temperature and detect sensation.
HAIR
Hair can be found all over the body, except the palms of hands, soles of the feet, and lips. It regulate body temperature, protects the skin from foreign particles and also alerts our senses. As stated above, the hair is a derivative(appendage) of the skin. The formation of the hair(internal structure) starts within the skin and depends on it for nutrients.

The skin and hair internally receive their supply from the blood vessels, and externally through product application.
The objective is sustaining the health skin and hair, ensuring their ability to fulfill the critical role of safeguarding the body’s internal organs.
